LV Switchboards
Our engineers’ decades of power engineering systems knowledge and experience go into the design and manufacture of the right solution that meets the unique conditions of projects.
Working flexibly to best utilise available space and engineering the design around challenging room layouts, Prism Power Group’s LV switchboards offer both pre-designed modular construction options for ratings up to 3200A and bespoke designed switchboards up to 6300A 100kA.
Switchboards are fully welded enclosures ranging from Form 2 to Form 4 Type 7. Our panels are built with devices from a selection of leading manufacturers, along with a comprehensive selection of metering, control and Power Factor Correction (PFC). Our flexibility and comprehensive range makes Prism Power’s offering ideal for a full scope of applications including data centres, telecom, industrial buildings, hospitals, rail, nuclear, commercial buildings and retail operations.
As the first manufacturer in the world to develop and gain independent ASTA certification for a naturally ventilated 6300A 100kA LV Switchboard design, Prism Power introduced a major technological advance in the LV switchgear manufacturing market. The busbar system design, unique to Prism Power, brings great efficiency, environmental and reliability benefits to our customers with the resulting elimination of forced ventilation fans.

Generator Switchboards
As a key element in a building’s power infrastructure, it is crucial that generator solutions give the ultimate reliability and resilience to manage a potential mains failure.
We ensure our generator switchboards are built to an exceptional quality, specially designed to fit your unique space and are a highly resilient solution that won’t let you down when the mains fails.
Our generator switchboards are fully welded for ultimate strength and quality, and can be rated up to 8000A, Form 2 to Form 4 Type 7 construction. Flexible in design, our generators and generator switchboards can be designed to fit unique spacing specifications and limitations. Solutions can also be supplied as a modular containerised solution where internal building space is limited, or so that the solutions can grow in conjunction with your organizational demands.
For the best results, generators and their accompanying switchboards must be highly compatible and work seamlessly together, since the combination of systems form a critical combined element of your power distribution solution. Whilst selecting the correct generator is undoubtedly important, ensuring that the switchboard sychronises perfectly with the generator system to best compliment its functioning and achieve the most reliable solution.
Once installed, our Maintenance Services division can give you the ultimate peace of mind that your system is ready to power instantly in the event of a disruption to the main power supply.
